Ingo Gaida

Ingo Gaida is an experienced professional in strategy development and operations, currently serving as the Director of Strategy Development for Central R&D at Miele since June 2021. Ingo's expertise focuses on driving the strategic development of new technologies, platforms, and digital solutions in Research & Development with a strong emphasis on innovation and sustainability. Prior experience includes roles at Bayer, where Ingo held positions such as Head of IT Operations R&D and Head of Enabling Technologies, overseeing the development and implementation of innovative digital solutions and technology platforms in Life Science R&D. Ingo's background encompasses a managerial role at CleanTechNRW, where responsibility included conceptualizing and building an innovation cluster for clean technologies, and positions at Bayer MaterialScience and Bayer Technology Services focused on business planning, corporate development, and management in information systems. Ingo holds a Dr. rer.nat. in Physics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and has furthered education at the University of Cambridge and University of Pennsylvania.
