David Sisson has a diverse work experience, starting in 1999 as a Consultant at Ambassador Consulting. David later became a Director of Development at Adtegrity.com in 2000. In 2001, they started their own business as an Independent Consultant. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as an Enterprise Systems Developer at US Signal Company LLC. David then joined Spectrum Health in 2008 as a Clinical Decision Support Analyst 2. In 2012, they became the Manager of Data Initiatives at First Steps. From 2014 to 2016, they served as the Director of IT & Evaluation at Health Net of West Michigan. In 2017, they worked as a Security Analyst 2 at BitLyft before becoming the Director of IT at MiEN Environments later that year.

David Sisson began their education at Grand Valley State University in 1989 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Communications in 1997. David then pursued further education at Grand Valley State University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from 2003 to 2006. David later received a certification in Database Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2010-2011. David has also obtained various additional certifications including Database Management, Object-Oriented Technology, and Distributed Computing from Grand Valley State University, as well as certifications in Lean Healthcare Training from Altarum Institute and CPR from Spectrum Health in 2005, 2010, and 2009 respectively.
