Itai Opatovsky is an accomplished researcher and lecturer with extensive experience in the field of ecology and plant protection. Currently serving as a researcher at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute and lecturer at Tel-Hai College since 2019, Itai has previously worked as a researcher in plant protection at the Agricultural Research and Development, Southern Branch from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, Itai contributed to the Agricultural Research Organisation in Israel as a postdoctoral scholar from 2013 to 2014. Itai earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Ecology, a Master of Science in Ecology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, all from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, completing studies from 2002 to 2013.
