Barbara Friedrich

Barbara Friedrich has extensive work experience in various communications roles. Barbara currently serves as the Head of Business Partner Kommunikation at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund since June 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Business Partner Kommunikation at the same company from April 2020 to May 2021. Barbara also worked as the Kommunikationsverantwortliche at Bank Avera from October 2007 to March 2020. Barbara was previously the Stv. Leiterin Unternehmenskommunikation at Allianz Suisse from June 2003 to September 2007. Barbara started their career at Die Schweizerische Post, where they held multiple roles including PR Fachfrau Kommunikation Postmail, Verantwortliche interne Kommunikation Briefpost, Marketingassistentin Product Management Briefpost, Verkaufsassistentin Post International, and Assistentin Marketing-Kommunikation from 1996 to 2003.

Barbara Friedrich's education history includes various degrees and certifications in the field of public relations and marketing. In 1998 and 1999, they attended the Institute for Kaderschulung and obtained a degree as a Marketingplanerin with an eidg. Fachausweis. Later, from 2002 to 2003, they enrolled at the Schweizerisches Public Relations Institut SPRI and completed their education as a PR Fachfrau with an eidg. Fachausweis. In 2005 to 2007, they pursued further studies at the same institution and earned an Eidg. Dipl. PR-Beraterin. Most recently, in 2019, Barbara Friedrich attended the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences for a short period to pursue a CAS in Digitale Transformation und Kommunikation.
