David Buckeridge

David Buckeridge is a Professor at McGill University since August 2005 and currently serves as the Chief Digital Health Officer at the same institution since November 2020. Additionally, David is an Associate Member at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute since March 2020 and has held the position of Executive Scientific Director at the Public Health Agency of Canada from January 2023 to July 2025. Previously, David was the Scientific Lead for Data Management and Analytics at the COVID-19 Immunity Task Force from May 2020 to March 2023 and worked as a Medical Consultant at the Institut national d'excellence en santé et en services sociaux and the Institut national de santé publique du Québec. David holds a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University and an MSc in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto, along with an MD from Queen's University.
