Hafez Ghaemi

Hafez Ghaemi is a Doctoral Researcher at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute and a Research Assistant at CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre since August 2023. Previously, Ghaemi served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Université de Montréal and Neuromatch, as well as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tehran, contributing to Smart Networks Lab and Cognitive Systems Lab. Ghaemi's experience includes internships at AIME Lab focusing on computer vision in biomedical engineering and a Biorobotics Lab, alongside academic roles in machine learning and materials science. Ghaemi holds a PhD in Computer Science from Université de Montréal and multiple master's degrees from the University of Tehran and Politecnico di Torino, with a background in mechanical engineering.
