Jordan Bannister

Jordan Bannister is a Senior Applied Research Scientist and 3D Machine Learning Scientist at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jordan co-founded Deep Surface AI, serving as a Senior AI Scientist from May 2020 to May 2023. Earlier in career development, Jordan gained experience as an Engineering Physics Co-op Student at the University of Calgary in 2014 and as an Exploitation Engineering Co-op Student at Crescent Point Energy Corp. in 2012. Jordan completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Medical Imaging at the University of Calgary from 2017 to 2023 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Physics with an Electrical Specialization from The University of British Columbia, obtained in 2017.
