Jens Karlsson has extensive work experience in various roles related to product management, innovation, and account management. Jens started their career at MilDef in 2010 as a Key Account Manager, responsible for managing major accounts in Europe, US, and Canada. Jens also took on Product Management responsibilities for the MilDef 19"/2 product line.
In 2018, Jens transitioned to the role of Director of Product Management, overseeing product development and strategy. Jens later served as the Director of Product & Innovation, leading efforts to drive innovation within the company. Currently, Jens holds the position of Head of Product at MilDef, where they manage product development and ensures the company offers top-quality solutions to customers.
Aside from their work at MilDef, Jens also has experience at Relacom Consulting as a Project Manager, where they worked closely with IT operations teams at customer sites. Prior to that, they worked at Öresundskraft AB as an IT Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing IT processes and routines.
Furthermore, Jens has been actively involved in the MilDef Charity Foundation since 2014, serving as the Chairman from 2017 to 2021 and as a board member and alternate in previous years. Overall, Jens Karlsson has a strong background in product management, innovation, and IT operations.
Jens Karlsson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Blekning Tekniska Högskola from 1999 to 2002. In 2007, they completed a project management course from an industrial perspective at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
