Richard Hemingway serves as the Head of Health Safety and Wellbeing at Milestone Infrastructure since August 2021, following a long tenure at Skanska UK where multiple roles included Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing and Senior Health & Safety Manager. With extensive experience in developing health and safety strategies and leading teams for major civil engineering projects, Richard has collaborated with industry bodies like the Civil Engineering Contractors Association and Safer Highways to enhance safety standards within the UK construction sector. Previous roles encompassed overseeing health and safety for significant projects with key clients such as National Grid and Network Rail, along with a solid foundation in civil engineering and safety management gained from earlier positions at Edmund Nuttall Ltd, Costain, and educational qualifications including a NEBOSH Construction Certificate and HNC in Civil Engineering Studies.
