Gideon Mann

Gideon Mann currently serves as the Global Head of AI Technology at Millennium, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Gideon was the Head of Machine Learning Product and Research in the CTO Office at Bloomberg LP from April 2014 to August 2023, where efforts included applied research through BloombergGPT and technological advancements like GPU infrastructure. Earlier experience includes working as a Staff Research Scientist at Google from September 2007 to March 2014, focusing on R&D in machine learning and building core infrastructure. Gideon also served as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Massachusetts from September 2005 to August 2007. Educationally, Gideon obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Sc.B. in Computer Science from Brown University.
