Daniel Flores

Daniel Flores is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in engineering and network management, currently serving as the Chief Technical Information Officer (CTIO) at Millicom (Tigo) since November 2011. Major achievements include leading a significant modernization of radio access networks with over 600 points of presence, the construction of a Tier III Data Center, and the overhaul of IT legacy systems. Flores has held various leadership roles, including Engineering Manager and Strategic Quality Manager, where responsibilities encompassed planning and executing network rollouts, implementing IT transformation programs, and defining quality frameworks for Tigo Honduras. Prior experiences at Digicel and Claro Honduras involved critical planning and optimization roles for cellular networks. Daniel holds an Electronics Engineering degree and a Master of Science in Project Management, supplemented by leadership training at Dartmouth College.
