Colton Heaps

Colton Heaps is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and project management within the energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Partner and VP of Operations at Millig Design Build since March 2022, Colton previously held the role of Director of Project Development at Willdan Performance Engineering, where responsibilities included supervising a team of 17 engineers and overseeing significant revenue growth. Colton's career also includes a tenure at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as Technical Project Leader, along with pivotal roles in the US Air Force, where expertise in energy management led to substantial policy recommendations and efficiency savings. Colton holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
