Alan Jenkins

Alan Jenkins, SCMP, currently serves as the Senior Manager of Brand and Communications (Internal Communications) at Milliken & Company, where responsibilities include overseeing corporate internal communication and managing internal campaign messaging across various departments. Prior to this role, Alan worked as a Digital Media Specialist at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, managing multiple social media platforms and ad budgets. Additionally, Alan served as a City Councilmember for District 2 in Spartanburg, focusing on community representation and improvement. A seasoned journalist, Alan has held various editing positions at publications such as The Charlotte Observer and The Shelby Star, in addition to founding Second Star Online Publishing. Alan received a BA in Mass Communication from Winthrop University.
