Ryan Upshaw

Ryan Upshaw, Ed.D., currently serves as the Assistant Dean for Student Life, Diversity & Inclusion at Millsaps College, focusing on student engagement programs and advising several student organizations. With extensive experience in higher education, Upshaw previously held roles including Chief Diversity Officer at Jackson Preparatory School, and Assistant Dean of Student Services at the University of Mississippi, where responsibilities encompassed enrollment management and student support. Upshaw's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration, a Master of Arts in Higher Education/Student Personnel, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, all obtained from the University of Mississippi. Additionally, Upshaw has contributed as a Seasonal Application Reader for QuestBridge.
