William Kelleher Storey is a Professor of History, Associate Dean of Arts & Humanities, and the Sanderson Chair in Arts & Sciences at Millsaps College since August 1999, specializing in the British Empire, environmental history, and technological history while leading the college's arts and humanities division. Previously, Storey served as a Preceptor in Expository Writing at Harvard University from September 1995 to December 1997, teaching writing to first-year students and collaborating with historian colleagues. Storey's academic journey includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Cornell University from September 1994 to June 1995, focusing on the history and sociology of science and technology, as well as education from The Johns Hopkins University, where a Ph.D. in History was earned, and an A.B. in History from Harvard University.
