Aare Käärid

Aare Käärid is an experienced mechanical engineer and project manager with a strong background in the military and engineering industries. Currently serving as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at Milrem Robotics, Aare oversees the development and integration of the Themis UGV and leads mechanical engineering activities for the CV90 vehicle variants, managing teams of engineers. Previous roles include Engineering Manager for the CV90 rebuilding project and Senior Mechanical Engineer, with extensive experience in product development and management across various companies, including Innovative Water Systems OÜ and Compoman OÜ, where Aare developed waste management machinery. Aare holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, alongside additional certifications in software development.
