Martin Valgur

Martin Valgur has extensive experience in software development and data analysis, specializing in algorithms for autonomous systems and machine learning applications. Currently serving as Software Tech Lead in R&D at Milrem Robotics since November 2018, Martin focuses on localization, mapping, and state estimation for autonomous ground vehicles. Prior roles include Data Scientist at STACC, where data analysis was performed on large datasets for telecom operators, and Software Developer at Reach-U, contributing to machine learning and computer vision projects. Earlier experience includes full-stack development at Tartu Observatory and embedded software development for the ESTCube-1 nanosatellite at the University of Tartu. Martin Valgur holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both from the University of Tartu.
