Ben Dowen

Ben Dowen is a highly experienced quality engineer currently serving as Lead Quality Engineer at Mimica since July 2025 and as a MoT Ambassador for the Ministry of Testing since January 2025. Previously, Ben held the roles of Senior Quality Engineer and Quality Engineer at Ada Health between July 2021 and June 2025, where innovative testing techniques were implemented to enhance product quality. Earlier experience includes positions as Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer at PA Media, Quality Manager at Intercept IP, and Senior Quality Analyst at Control F1 Ltd. At Citrix, from July 2012 to December 2017, Ben led testing efforts on major features for the flagship product XenApp/XenDesktop. Ben graduated with a First Class degree in Forensic and Security Technology from Sheffield Hallam University in 2012 and also worked as an IT Workshop Technician at Sports Direct prior to entering the quality engineering field.
