Minderoo Foundation
Griffin Longley is a seasoned leader in early childhood development and community engagement, currently serving as Head of Early Childhood Development and Head of Strategy and Campaigns at Minderoo Foundation since August 2022. Longley is a Churchill Fellow at the Winston Churchill Trust in Australia since April 2019 and has been a Parks Ambassador and Director at WA Parks Foundation since September 2016. Previous roles include Board Member at Trails WA from December 2020 to June 2023, and Co-Founder of Green Code Creative from June 2019 to June 2023. Longley led Nature Play WA as CEO from June 2010 to August 2022, transforming it into an influential not-for-profit organization. Additionally, Longley co-founded Lifting Horizons in 2015, spearheading the Night Hoops program aimed at at-risk youth, and served as Creative Director for the Nature Passport App Project with IslandWood. Longley also has extensive experience in journalism, having worked as a columnist and reporter at The West Australian from January 2001 to July 2015. Longley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies and a Bachelor of Journalism from Murdoch University.
