Aaron Portnoy currently serves as the Head of Research & Innovation at Mindgard, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, Portnoy was a Hacker Fellow and Hacker-in-Residence at Dartmouth College from October 2024 to July 2025. From June 2022 to April 2025, Portnoy held the title of Program Director, Applied Research at IBM, where responsibilities included organizational and technical leadership. Earlier, from October 2020 to June 2022, Portnoy was the Director of Research and Development at Randori, an IBM Company, focusing on cross-functional team leadership. Portnoy's career began at Boldend, where from August 2018 to October 2020, the role of Director of Research involved reverse engineering and government contracting. Throughout this career, Portnoy has demonstrated expertise in multiple areas of leadership and specialized skills.

By leveraging the Mindgard platform, our clients free up precious AI and cyber security resources and at the same time understand, detect, and mitigate risks across their entire AI model portfolio, which currently takes too long and is too expensive.
