Lian Chen

Lian Chen currently serves as the Business and Market Development Director at Minerals Technologies Inc., responsible for managing business development activities and the commercial team in China while overseeing key accounts across Asia. Notably, Lian signed the largest capital investment project in China in 2016 and contributed to securing new projects in Indonesia. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Air Products, where Lian managed significant business divisions, including Asia equipment sales and large tonnage projects in the steel and petrochemical industries. Achievements include winning the largest gengas project in 2014 and successfully expanding the electronics tonnage gas business. Lian has a Master of Business Administration from Nottingham University Business School and holds engineering degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Xi'an Jiaotong University.
