Michael Donovan

Michael Donovan is an experienced professional in the field of construction technologies and polymer science, currently serving as the Global R&D Director for Construction Technologies at Minerals Technologies Inc. since July 2014. Prior to this role, Michael was the Innovation Leader for Construction Products at AMCOL International, where responsibilities included advancing products related to geosynthetic clay liners and corrosion protection. Michael's experience also encompasses a position as Senior Scientist at AMCOL, focusing on waterproofing membranes and other advanced materials, and previous roles at SABIC Innovative Plastics and the University of Southern Mississippi. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from The University of Southern Mississippi and a BA in Chemistry from St. Norbert College.
