Hugo Davison possesses extensive experience in digital growth and marketing within the education sector. Currently serving as the Head of Growth and Head of Digital at Minerva's Virtual Academy since November 2020, Hugo has been instrumental in establishing the institution as the fastest-growing online school for children aged 12-18. Concurrently, Hugo has held the position of Head of Marketing at Minerva Tutors since January 2016, an award-winning provider of private tutoring and homeschooling for children aged 5-18. Previously, as CMO at Nightschooler, Hugo specialized in learning innovations, and during tenure at Vrumi as Head of Partnerships, Hugo enhanced brand presence through strategic marketing partnerships. Early professional experiences include roles at Black Tomato and Sunsail, where Hugo managed operations and children's programs, and formal education was completed at Durham University with a BA (Hons) in Ancient History.

The Academy was founded in 2020 by the team behind Minerva Tutors, one of the UK's leading private tuition and homeschooling agencies. We've seen first hand the need for a better, more affordable solution for parents who want to educate their children at home, and we're very excited to see where the Academy takes us.
