Daniel Valdivia has had a varied work experience. From 2006 to 2019, they have worked for 8 different companies. Daniel began their career in 2006 as a Developer for Mexvax, and a Project Manager & Developer for Expert Creations. In 2007, they worked as a Software Developer for AAABC and a Software Developer & Project Manager for Posadas. In 2010, they were a Developer for Freescale Semiconductor. From 2011 to 2014, they worked for Oracle as a Mobile Application Developer and a Programmer Analyst. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Senior Application Developer and a Senior Applications Developer, Financial Management for ServiceNow - The Enterprise Cloud Company. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Head of Machine Learning for Espressive. Finally, in 2019, they became an Engineer for MinIO.

Daniel Valdivia obtained a BS in Computer Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 2006 and 2010. Daniel also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey during the same period. Prior to that, they obtained a Tecnical in Physics and Mathematics from Cervantes Costa Rica between 2003 and 2006.
