Prior to this role, Beth held various positions within the Ministry for Primary Industries and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, focusing on policy development in areas such as climate change, science, and COVID-19 response. Beth graduated with a Master of Public Policy from Victoria University of Wellington and holds a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Environmental Science and Agribusiness from The University of Waikato.
