Zhen Chih Tan

Zhen Chih Tan possesses a diverse background in management and advisory roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Strategy and Performance at the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), Zhen also holds the title of Principal Adviser in Strategy and System Design and previously managed Strategy and System Design for Fisheries New Zealand. Zhen's experience extends to the Department of Corrections in New Zealand as a Senior Design Analyst focused on Service Design and Implementation. Additional expertise includes senior advisory roles at Inland Revenue NZ, where Zhen supported capability and practice initiatives, as well as a contractor position at Transpower concentrating on data quality. Zhen's early career included roles as a Policy Analyst in Economic Affairs and Trainee Project Manager for Urban Planning with Gemeente Groningen.
