Melissa Story

Melissa Story MBA currently serves as the Head of Leadership Talent and Growth at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, where responsibilities include overseeing the Leadership, Talent, and Growth strategy and leading teams in developing organizational frameworks. Previously, Melissa Story operated Melissa Story Consulting from 2013 to June 2023, focusing on client consulting projects. Additional roles include HR Consultant for the Department of Internal Affairs, People and Culture Consultant for Taumata Arowai, Acting Manager of Workplace Culture and Learning at the Ministry of Justice, and various organizational development positions across several organizations. Melissa Story holds an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business and has a background in developing leadership and talent strategies, as well as implementing human-centred design principles in workplace culture.
