Ane Bertelsen

Ane Bertelsen currently holds the position of Fuldmægtig / Head of Section at Udenrigsministeriet since April 2025. Prior to this role, Ane served in various capacities at Røde Kors from August 2020 to December 2024, including Team Lead - Partnerships, Partnership Delegate, and Partnership Advisor. Ane's experience also includes a brief tenure as a Stagiaire at the European Commission in the DG DEVCO department, where Ane acted as a spokesperson for fellow stagiaires. Additional roles were held with the Danish Red Cross, as well as campaign and communication positions with Verdens Bedste Nyheder and Den Sociale Kapitalfond. Ane’s educational background consists of a Master's degree in Global Studies from Roskilde University and a Bachelor's degree in German language and literature and Intercultural Studies from Københavns Universitet, complemented by exchange studies at SOAS University of London and additional education at The University of Bonn.
