Hannah Dereje

Hannah Dereje is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Executive Operations at the Minnesota DFL Party since April 2025. Previously, Hannah held various roles within the Office of Governor Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan, including Scheduler to the Lieutenant Governor, where responsibilities included calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements. Additional experience includes positions as a Public Engagement Liaison and Constituent Services Liaison, focusing on decision-making and customer service. Prior to government roles, Hannah worked as a Style Consultant at Target and served as an Administrative Assistant in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Hannah began a career with a Senate Internship in 2019. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Health from the University of Minnesota.
