Steve Weinreich

Steven Weinreich is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the sports industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Minnesota Wild since 2010. Weinreich has managed all legal matters for the organization, successfully negotiated major NHL events, and developed multi-million dollar agreements and projects, including the establishment of the Minnesota Wild practice facility and significant sponsorship deals. Previously, Weinreich held the position of Vice President and General Counsel for the Phoenix Coyotes, where responsibilities included handling complex legal and business negotiations. An accomplished team leader, Weinreich has effectively internalized legal operations and risk management processes while serving on numerous executive boards and committees. Weinreich holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management and Communications from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
