Jan Wiborg has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and software development industries. Jan began their career as a Support Manager at ID Communication in 1992 and then worked as a Senior Consultant at ID ComNet from 1998 to 2000. From 2000 to 2002, they held the position of Senior Consultant at Cluster Concepts. In 2002, they co-founded COEX AS and served as a Senior Consultant until 2012, specializing in application development and consulting. Jan then joined DNV GL as a Technology and Development Manager from 2012 to 2014, where they developed software solutions for energy, process, and maritime industries. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Product Director at Onsoft Computer Systems AS, specializing in software development for shipping and offshore industries. Currently, Jan Wiborg is employed as a Product Director at Mintra Group, where they focus on HR, competence, and training management solutions.

Jan Wiborg completed their education at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. From 1988 to 1991, they pursued a degree in Electronics, receiving the title of Engineer. Following this, from 1991 to 1992, Jan pursued further studies in Economics, earning a degree in Bedriftsøkonom.
