Vikram Gupta

Vikram Gupta is currently the Head of AI Research at Minus Zero since March 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Staff Scientist in Machine Learning at ShareChat from February 2021 to October 2023, where Vikram specialized in recommendation systems, chatbots, and trust and safety initiatives, enhancing the recall of recommendation systems and developing multimodal models for content understanding. Earlier roles feature a Senior Computer Vision Researcher position at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, focusing on domain adaptation and car occupancy monitoring, and a Senior Research Engineer role at Netradyne, where driving behavior mining and time series data analysis were key responsibilities. Vikram began a career as a Computer Vision Researcher in a self-employed capacity, developing models for age and gender detection. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, both from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
