Denes Galyo, FRM, CFA, CAIA, serves as the Chief Risk Officer at Mirabaud Asset Management since May 2013, and has held the role of Head of Risk Management - Alternative Funds at Mirabaud & Cie since November 2008, focusing on operational due diligence and investment risk management. Prior to these positions, Denes was the Head of Risk Management at Alpstar Capital from February 2007 to October 2008, managing investment and operational risks. Denes also worked as a Senior Risk Manager at the European Investment Bank from November 2001 to January 2007, specializing in asset and liability and market risk management. Denes’ experience includes a tenure as a Senior Consultant at PwC and as Head of Financial Control and Risk Management at OCCH. Denes holds a BS in Economics from Université libre de Bruxelles and an MS in Financial Risk Management from UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles.
