Ignacio Medina Fernandez, PhD, currently serves as a Data Scientist and Privacy Expert at Datavant, where responsibilities include analyzing diverse datasets to evaluate privacy risks, developing collaborative tools through GitHub, and designing NLP tools for unstructured data analysis. Previous experience includes tutoring at Tutorful and acting as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London, where Ignacio supported various courses and designed course content. Ignacio completed a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London, along with a Diploma in Data Science from BrainStation and an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London. Early academic foundations were established with a BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València.
