Christopher Axline

Christopher Axline is a Senior Quantum Engineer at Miraex since November 2022. Previously, Christopher held the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate at ETH Zürich from September 2018 to January 2023 and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Yale University from May 2012 to July 2018, focusing on superconducting circuit QED systems for quantum computing and communication. Early in the academic journey, Christopher worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at UCSB, involved in microfluidic nanoparticle sorting technology, and completed internships at NIST and the California NanoSystems Institute, where prototypes and research presentations were developed. Christopher earned a PhD in Applied Physics from Yale University and a BS in Physics from UC Santa Barbara.
