Mirai Solar
Michael Salvador has a range of work experience in the field of solar energy and technology. Michael is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Mirai Solar, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, Michael worked at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology as the Technology Lead, where they were responsible for leading initiatives to move energy technologies from the lab to real-world applications. Michael also served as the Laboratory Manager, overseeing a team of research engineers and managing operations and safety in a state-of-the-art lab.
Before joining King Abdullah University, Michael worked as a Research Scientist at Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. Michael also held a position as a Research Associate at the University of Washington, where they worked on various projects related to plasmonic nanoparticles, organic photovoltaics, and kesterite solar cells. Additionally, Michael has experience as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the California Institute of Technology.
