Miska Kaipiainen is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering, open source software, and product management. Currently serving as VP Engineering, Strategy & Open Source Software at Mirantis since January 2020, Miska has held several leadership roles, including Senior Director and Director of Engineering. Miska's entrepreneurial journey includes founding Kontena, where open-source tools for Kubernetes workloads were developed, and serving as CEO at both Meshcom Technologies, which created a mesh networking protocol stack, and Radionet, known for wireless link products acquired by Airspan Networks. Prior experience includes product management roles at Digia and Visualweb Oy, focusing on workforce management solutions and cloud networking products. Miska holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Vaasa.
