Antoine Raes

Antoine Raes has a diverse and extensive background in investment management. Antoine most recently worked as an Investment Director at Mirova, starting in September 2023. Prior to that, from September 2021 to August 2023, they held the position of Senior Equity Investment Manager at Incofin Investment Management, a leading impact investing manager specialized in emerging markets.

Before joining Incofin, Antoine worked at PROPARCO, a development finance institution, where they held roles as a Senior Investment Officer and Investment Officer in the Private Equity sector. Antoine was responsible for managing investments in Latin America, Asia, and Africa from January 2019 to September 2021.

Antoine's earlier experiences include working at FADEV, an early-stage/seed investment fund focused on small companies in Sub-Saharan Africa, where they served as CIO and Board Member for African Investments & Portfolio Monitoring. Antoine also worked as an Investment Executive in Private Equity at FADEV.

Additionally, Antoine has worked as an Analyst in Private Equity at Bluester Capital, a prominent European lower mid-market buy-out investor. Antoine also gained experience in mergers and acquisitions as an Analyst at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking and as a Trainee in Transactions Advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Antoine started their career with an internship in Private Equity at Invision Private Equity and an internship in Export Finance at BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking.

From 2004 to 2009, Antoine Raes pursued a Master of Sciences (MSc) degree in Corporate Finance at The Berlin School of Economics and Law.
