Misean Cara supports the development work of missionaries around the world. Our members are dedicated to making an impact in the fight against poverty in countries throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America, where they live and work. 

The organization enables assistance from Ireland to be channeled to vital areas such as education, health care, humanitarian relief, and environmental protection. 

We support the uniqueness and humanity of the faith-based approach to development by providing funding, capacity building, and awareness raising assistance for this work. 

Mission
Misean Cara works to bring about transformation by supporting missionary organisations and their partners, who are involved in promoting poverty eradication, education, health care, social justice, peace, the integrity of creation, and inter-religious collaboration.

Our members work to bring about:
- poverty eradication
- the sustainable use of resources and
- the promotion of just and peaceful relationships among peoples
