Avish Rana is an experienced professional currently serving as Chief of Staff at Misfits, a role undertaken since January 2023 as part of the founding team, focusing on helping individuals allocate funds to a quality portfolio of startups. Prior to this, Avish was Head of Product at Metal Square from December 2021 to December 2022, where efforts were directed towards developing a product for synthetic derivatives during the web3 ZIRP boom. Avish also worked as Product Manager for Udaan's Pharma vertical and served as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising banking clients on operational efficiency. Previous experience includes significant product management roles at Shuttl, where development of a consumer app and B2B employee transportation solutions were spearheaded, and positions at UpGrad, Housing.com, and Objectify Technologies as a co-founder. Avish holds an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from the Indian School of Business and a dual degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
