David L. has extensive work experience in the field of network and information security. David started their career at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, where they were responsible for creating, installing, administrating, and supporting their corporate LAN/WAN, frame relay, remote access, VPN, internet, and intranet. David then worked as an IT Consultant at Entergy, where they established a corporate extranet and provided network connectivity services. After that, they joined Comcast as an Internet Security Architect, building and supporting their system-wide network security infrastructure. Following their time at Comcast, they worked as a Network Security Architect at Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc., designing their network security, firewall, VPN, authentication, intrusion detection, and wireless security. David then served as the Director of Technical Services at RBTi, where they ensured the company provided network, information security, and policy solution design to meet customer needs. Currently, they work at Mission Critical Systems as the Director of Engineering & Professional Services and holds the role of CTO. In this position, they have recruited and mentored top talent, grown the engineering department, and collaborated with the executive team on the company's tech vision.
David L. pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Louisiana State University. David obtained the degree, however, the specific start and end years were not mentioned. In 2003, they also achieved the certification of Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)².
