Mark Bates

Mark Bates currently serves as the Senior Director of US Operations at Mission to the World, a position held since March 2021. Prior to this role, Mark Bates was the Senior Pastor at Village Seven Presbyterian Church from August 2007 to March 2021 and served as Senior Pastor at University Presbyterian Church (PCA) from 1991 to 2007. Earlier in the career, Mark Bates was the Youth and Singles Pastor at Orangewood Presbyterian Church from June 1987 to February 1991. Mark Bates holds a Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary, earned between 1983 and 1987, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Greek from Bryan College, completed in 1983.
