Betsey Smith

Betsey Smith serves as the Director of the Research and Curriculum Unit since June 2018 and has held the position of Associate Director of Career and Technical Education at Mississippi State University since January 2014. With over 16 years of experience in career and technical education, Betsey Smith previously taught family and consumer science courses in Louisiana and played a key role in establishing a career center as a career counselor. Betsey Smith earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in School Counseling from the University of Louisiana Monroe in 2006, following a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences from Louisiana State University in 1998.
