Serkan Sahin is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in overhead transmission lines and tower design. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for OHTL at MİTAS GROUP since August 2007, Sahin oversees engineering efforts and R&D projects while previously holding positions such as Engineering Manager and Senior Design Engineer, leading teams in design and coordination across various projects. Sahin's expertise includes cost estimation, technical validation of designs, and the organization of full-scale tower tests. Prior experience at PROMER CONSULTANCY ENGINEERING involved structural design and oversight of industrial steel structures. Education includes a Ph.D. specializing in the size-shape and topology optimization of steel lattice towers, along with an M.Sc. in steel structure design specifications, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, all from Middle East Technical University.
