David Briggs

David Briggs is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the hospitality sector, currently serving as Divisional Director and holding multiple leadership roles at Mitchells & Butlers PLC since July 2010. Responsibilities include designing and coordinating operational planning functions, overseeing three key work streams—activity planning, communications, and activity ROI evaluations. Prior to this, David managed IT and Business Change projects affecting retail operations across 1,800 locations. From September 2005 to July 2010, David excelled as Retail Business Manager for Nicholson's, overseeing significant sales and profit generation across multiple esteemed establishments. David holds an MSc in Marketing and a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Birmingham.
