Maricla Costa

Maricla Costa is a Senior Sustainability Data Analyst at Mitie, a position held since January 2021, and previously served as an Energy and Environmental Data Consultant at Interserve from January 2019 to December 2020. Prior to that, Maricla undertook consulting roles at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, focusing on feasibility assessments for Gold Standard certification and supporting corporate sustainability initiatives. Experience also includes acting as a Project Officer for ARS Progetti SPA, where responsibilities involved managing EU Framework Contracts for good governance, as well as positions with the International Network for Small Hydropower and as an intern at GIZ. Maricla holds an Advanced Certificate in Terrestrial Carbon Accounting from UC San Diego, an MSc in Environment and Development from The University of Manchester, and a Laurea in Political Science and International Relations from Università di Catania.
