Fernando Cucchietti

Chief Data Officer at Mitiga Solutions

Fernando Cucchietti has a strong background in data analytics and visualization. Fernando began their career at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2005 as a Directors Postdoctoral Fellow, where they worked until 2008. Following this, they joined ICFO as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Barcelona Supercomputing Center, initially as a Senior Researcher and later became the Head of Data Analytics and Visualization. In 2017, they began lecturing on Data Visualization at the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Chief Data Officer at Mitiga Solutions.

Fernando Cucchietti obtained their Licenciatura degree in Physics from Universidad Nacional de Cordoba in 1998. Fernando further pursued their education at the same institution and completed their PhD in Physics in 2004.
