Valerie Brosnan has a diverse work experience across various industries. In 2019, they worked as a Bartender at McCarthy's Bar while studying abroad in the University of Barcelona. Within the same year, they also had a position as a Cloud Engineer at Intel Corporation. Moving on to 2021, Valerie worked as a Sales Executive at Alef&Kiai for seven months. In 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at Tyrell Associates, where they independently built an online application form using PHP. Currently, Valerie is working at Mitiga Solutions as a Data Scientist specializing in hazard event analysis. Their role involves utilizing Python programming, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and potential future events that could impact communities and businesses.

Valerie Brosnan obtained their Leaving Certificate from Jesus and Mary, Salerno in 2015. Valerie then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy at Trinity College Dublin from 2015 to 2016. Valerie later shifted their focus to Computer Engineering and earned a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Trinity College Dublin between 2016 and 2020. In 2019-2020, they also pursued a Master's degree in Innovation and Research in Informatics at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Currently, Valerie is enrolled at Trinity College Dublin, where they are expected to complete their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Engineering by 2022.
