Earlier experience includes various roles at Virtusa from September 2012 to October 2016, such as Associate Consultant and Senior Software Engineer. Ashen began professional training as a Trainee Software Engineer at Aeturnum from July 2010 to June 2011. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from the University of Westminster (2009-2012).
