Christine Basel

Christine Basel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and systems engineering. Currently serving as Portfolio Manager for Enterprise Services at The MITRE Corporation since March 2014, Christine oversees resources totaling over 50 staff years across 20 Government leads to fulfill strategic agency priorities. Previous roles include Department Manager of Enterprise Architecture Solutions at Northrop Grumman TASC and Chief Data Architect at NGC, along with a solid foundation as a Member of Technical Staff at MITRE. In addition to technical expertise, Christine also imparts knowledge as an experienced Piano Teacher in the Northern Virginia area, providing private and group lessons in piano and theory to students of all ages. Educational background includes a B.S. in Mathematics from Bowling Green State University.
